Claw Game (No time for name)

Made for the Illinois State 2023 Game Jam with the theme: Extract.

Warning: game contains moderate levels of brokeness and jank, proceed cautiously.

The main idea behind this game was to create a mix of claw machine physics and gameplay similar to angry birds. Ideally, the claw machine would contain various types of objects for you to hurl at the enemy. Currently, this game is in more of a prototype state, but I may polish it up a bit more. 

Controls and Notes:

• Use A and D to move left and right, respectively.
• Press space to allow the claw to descend and grab objects. Once the claw has retracted fully, pressing space again will release the claw's grip.
• Moving off the right-side of the screen will bring you to another portion of the level.

(Notable) Bugs in the current build:

• The claw can get stuck while trying to close on multiple objects; the claw could potentially remain stuck until the game is restarted.
• There is no way to quit the game (besides force quitting/closing the application).
• The claw starts with its grip activated (not intended, press space to release it).
• Only one of the three enemies can die (didn't have time/forgot to go back and add all the required scripts).
• Claw shakes semi-violently while extending and retracting.
